Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rock, Walworth and Jefferson Counties seeks to fill the following position.Case Manager - Walworth County, Delavan Office
Hourly part-time position, approximately 13-15 hours a week; PTO (paid time off) after 6 months, flexible scheduling
- Function
- Carry out duties assigned by the Executive Director and the Agency Board of Directors for the furtherance of the BBBS Agency purpose.
- Responsibilities-to include but not limited to:
- Process adult volunteer inquiries and applications including background checks; conduct home visit interviews and training of volunteers, recommend volunteers for acceptance or rejection.
- Process child intake including follow-up referrals, child and family home interviews and make recommendation for matches.
- Participate in adult volunteer/child matching process in accordance with Agency policy and required standards set by BBBSA.
- Complete and maintain Agency forms and reports as required.
- Turn over all files and reports to Match Support Specialist after making a match in a timely fashion.
- Staff agency office in assigned location at hours directed by the Executive Director.
- Keep all agency files and records in the assigned office under lock and key to insure confidentiality.
- Participate in agency staff meetings and agency activities as required by the Executive Director.
- Report suspected or alleged cases of physical/sexual abuse or neglect to proper authorities as mandated by law.
- Assist in the planning and execution of all fundraising and marketing efforts.
- Attend meetings, trainings, and other functions as directed.
- Maintain and post a consistent work schedule as agreed upon during hiring.
- Cultivate and maintain professional collateral contacts, including principals, teachers, guidance counselors, family/individual counselors, etc……
- Able to work independently in a remote office as well as working as a team player
- Some evening and weekend work will be required
- Other duties as assigned
- Qualifications
- The organization will employ qualified individuals to fill vacancies on the basis of their experience, ability and aptitude.
- The minimum educational requirement will be a baccalaureate degree, preferably in human services or education. Other degrees will be considered with relevant experience.

- Able to provide own transportation
