BBBS of Rock, Jefferson and Walworth counties are also agencies of the
Stateline United Way, United Way of Northern Rock County, Geneva Lakes Area United Way, Delavan Darien United Way, United Way of Jefferson & North Walworth Counties.
PROGRAM OUTCOMES
Program-Outcome-Based Evaluations (POE) are used to measure the
positive outcomes that mentoring achieves. POE's help track the
effect BBBS mentoring has on Littles in many different ways.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rock, Walworth & Jefferson Counties has already experienced signs of a brighter future in many children's lives! Local data recently demonstrated that Littles served through BBBS showed improvement in the following areas:
- Self-confidence
- Ability to express feelings
- Attitude towards school & academic performance
- Decision-making
- Sense of the future
- Relationships with peers, their family and adults
POE Forms (Program Outcome Evaluation)
The POE form is used to report changes the parent(s) and
volunteers have observed in the youth being mentored, as
well as changes the child has experienced himself or herself.
It is submitted annually by the parent(s), the volunteer and
the child's teacher..
