• July 27th ~ Old Navy of Johnson Creek will be hosting CAMP OLD NAVY. This event is open to 12-18 year olds who have an interest in learning first hand what it's like to work for Gap, Inc. Camp will run from 9am-noon and will include lunch. This event is limited to the first 5 to RSVP.
• August 6th ~ BBBS has FREE Beloit Snappers baseball tickets to their 7pm game. Call to reserve your tickets!
• August 7th ~ our annual Summer Picnic will be hosted by North East Business Association! This event will once again be held at the Moose Club in Beloit and is free to all matches, waiting kids, families and siblings. Food, games & outdoor fun make this a great afternoon!
• August 27th ~ Patch Products of Beloit will be hosting a free cookout and Beloit Snappers game in honor of youth mentoring. This event will be open to all matches and is limited to the first 50 to RSVP.
• September 19th ~ Big Brothers Big Sisters will once again partner with the Beloit Lions Club on their annual Autorama Car Show. Volunteers are needed to help direct parking.
• $5 Admission passes to Riverview/WI Dells for the following dates: June 21-25, July 12-16 or August 23-27. Call your Match Support Specialist for tickets.

2010 marks the 18th year of the Annual Stinebrink’s Piggly Wiggly Golf For Kids event. This fun event will be held on Thursday, July 15th at Evergreen Golf Club in Elkhorn. Lunch begins at 11:00am with an 18-hole tee off at 12:30. The event is open to the public and supports the Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring programs throughout Rock, Walworth & Jefferson Counties. $150/golfer includes cookout lunch, golf, cart, steak dinner, door prizes and golfer giveaways.

The Big Brothers Big Sisters’ annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake was held on March 20th at Rock River Lanes. 65 community members joined forces in helping raise $14,500 for youth mentoring in southern Wisconsin!

Thank you to the Jefferson County Action Team (Mike Gosenheimer, Jim Meacham, Amanda Donnelly, Jim Markgraf & Susan Wenzler) for helping organize this fun event!

Manpower Inc, won the TOP TEAM PLEDGE AWARD for the 3rd straight year by raising $2,360 (led by Team Captain, Mike Gosenheimer). Patch Products of Beloit won the honorable mention team award. Kathy Murray won the TOP ADULT PLEDGE AWARD by raising $3,875, followed by Mike Gosenheimer who raised $$1,325 and Luke Janiak Fenton who raised $$1,255. The TOP YOUTH PLEDGE AWARDS were given to Zach and Cody (Little Brother). Four Matches were also awarded prizes for raising pledges.

The 2010 6th Annual Hog Hula Memorial Day Fundraiser, sponsored by American Family Insurance, will be held on Monday, May 31st. The Hog Cabin Saloon, 631 W. Newark Road, will host the fundraiser which supports Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rock, Walworth & Jefferson Counties.
